Macao elevated bridge curved sound insulation barrier

The curved sound barrier for the elevated bridge in Macao has a height of 2.4 meters and is designed with a composite structure. The panel is made of aluminum plates, the backboard is made of galvanized steel plates, and a layer of frosted glass is embedded in the middle to achieve both sound absorption and insulation as well as structural durability. The entire structure is both functional and environmentally harmonious.

To address the issue of the excessive distance between elevated bridges and residential buildings, this project has specifically implemented acoustic barrier facilities. This measure aims to effectively block traffic noise and reduce its disturbance to the adjacent communities. It is an important noise reduction intervention method that demonstrates the project's social responsibility and environmental concern.
